TOURNAMENT:  FINAL FOUR INSIGHT

HERRIMAN: Beat Grantsville last year to claim their second title in a row.  Knocked out this year's semi-final opponent (Murray) in the semi-final game last year.   Definitely the largest school in the final four, Herriman would be considered a tournament favorite until someone shows they can knock them off.  Always deep with good athletes from all classes.  You've got to make the plays to beat them.

GRANTSVILLE: Last year's runner-up.  They return their entire last year's runner-up team and are always dangerous come tournament time.  They are a well coached program with good athletes.  Consistent pitching, hitting and defense.  If they get confidence going in a game they can be dangerous.

OLYMPUS: You'd better be able to hit good pitching to beat them.  Olympus is stocked full of young hard-throwers who are competitive on the mound.  Wouldn't be a long shot to consider them the favorite to win it all this year.  Breezed through pool play.  As always, good athletes in nearly all positions with good hitters and some good team speed in the line-up.

MURRAY: A four-time winner of the tournament, they were knocked out last year by this year's semi-final opponent (Herriman).  Murray will need its starting pitching to compete through potential in-game adversity and go deep into games. Murray is a balanced team with 3 or 4 starters in each of the junior, sophomore and freshmen classes.  Good athletes in nearly all positions with some good hitters in the offensive line-up.  If playing to potential, teams usually have to play pretty well and get a few breaks to beat Murray.
